Frequently Asked Questions

What is a House Cash Buyer?

A person or business that purchases homes without using bank financing is known as a "house cash buyer" (i.e. not an iBuyer or agency). This lowers the possibility of delays and speeds up the real estate closing process. Rescue My House will only make reasonable cash bids for houses. There are no real estate inspections or assessments that might prevent the deal from going through. We buy the house as is!

How do I get Rescue My Home to make me an offer?

Fill out the contact form by clicking "Contact" at the top of the page and provide more information about your situation. We will call you to arrange a convenient time to view the home.

I am not in town. Do I need to be at the property when you come to view it?

If you are not available, or out of town, you can complete everything at your local attorney's office. Your check will be deposited into your account or mailed to you. However, if you would like to understand the process more, we would love to walk you through everything! We are here to help accommodate your needs!

If you buy my house before a Foreclosure, can I save my credit?

If you sell your home before the Foreclosure is finalized, it will prevent a "Foreclosure" from appearing on your credit report. This will help your credit significantly.

My house is listed with a real estate agent. Are you still interested?

Your agent will most likely ask to be paid a commission, but we will still purchase your home.

Are there any fees or costs associated with selling my house?

There are absolutely no hidden fees when Rescue My House buys your property!

I need to sell my house fast. How long will the process take?

Every situation is different, but we can typically provide a cash offer in 24-48 hours. If you accept the offer, we can close in as little as 7-14 days! However, this depends on your situation.

I owe more than my house is worth. Can you help me?

This is very common. When someone owes more than the house is worth, we work with you and your bank to finalize a process called a "short sale" to buy your home.

Will you still buy my house if I currently have a bad tenant living there?

We are still interested in buying your house no matter the condition or tenant situation.

What if my house needs repairs?

There is no need to make repairs. We buy the property as-is!

I'm behind on my loan. What do I do?

We are still interested in purchasing your home! Contact us before making another payment. We can help you out!

If I am in Foreclosure, are you still interested?

We would still like to make an offer to buy it as long as the Foreclosure has not been completed (the bank owns it).
